Facebook Secure Browsing (HTTPS)

Here is how to enable this feature on your Facebook account to browse securely.
1. Log into Facebook, Click the Account menu dropdown on the upper right side of the page and then click Account Settings.

2. On the My Account Settings page, scroll to Account Security and click Change

3. You will see an option for Secure Browsing (https). Check the box next to Browse Facebook on a secure connection (https) whenever possible and Click Save.

Note: If you want to be notified if another computer or mobile device uses your account (it could be you on another computer or mobile device or not), Click the check box for that option too.
4. Facebook already uses HTTPS for the account edit screen, visit another page (your profile page, for example) to verify secure browsing is on and working.  It is normal for some pages to load slower after enabling this option.

Currently NOT ALL apps, games and pages on Facebook support HTTPS and will ask you to allow them to turn off HTTPS to use them. There is a flaw with this where the apps, games or pages disable HTTPS on your whole account, requiring that you keep enabling this option. Facebook says it will fix this issue soon.
